Bridgette Bell
Finance and Administration
Bridgette Bell joined the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services in July 2021 and became the Executive’s Operations Officer. In February 2022, she became the Deputy Commissioner of Finance and Procurement overseeing finance services, including planning and analysis, procurement services, and federal reporting. Currently, Bridgette is the Senior Administrative Officer for MDCPS overseeing all support divisions of the agency. Before joining MDCPS in 2021, Bridgette worked for a diverse range of organizations, including the Mississippi Department of Human Services, Military Department, and Mississippi Department of Mental Health. Bridgette holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University. Bridgette recently completed the MS Leadership Excellence and Development program from Mississippi State Personnel Board.
Bridgette resides in Brandon with her husband. She is blessed with four kids and six grandchildren. Working with MDCPS is the most rewarding job because, to Bridgette, “Family Matters Most” in her personal and professional lives.
